Dr. Samuel Don Smith brings decades of aviation expertise to every page. His journey began in 1963 and led to service as a Pilot and Aircraft Commander with the Texas Air National Guard, followed by test pilot work at Tyndall Air Force Base.
His commercial career with Delta Air Lines spanned nearly three decades, from 1977 to 2005, where he served as Captain and Line Check Airman on the Boeing 737, 757, 767, 777, and MD-11.
